The House of Ruth was able to make a sizeable down payment but we still currently owe $300,000 to fully pay off the house. We were able to secure a loan from a private party and we have four more years to pay it off. As with any non-profit, paying off a building goes above and beyond the normal donations made to keep House of Ruth operational on a daily basis.
